Information Page

Tournament Details:

  • The first annual “Live Like D” Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, July 26, at the Cottonwood Hills Golf Course in Bozeman, MT (8955 River Rd, Bozeman, MT 59718)

  • We will have nine holes available on their larger regulation course (the Championship Course) and their nine-hole Par 3 course (the Executive Course).

    • This means you will choose which course your team plans to play on, and the costs will vary accordingly.

  • We will start each course with a staggered shotgun start to have all teams conclude their rounds in the same timeframe. 

    • We plan to start at 1:00 p.m. on the Championship Course and 1:30 p.m. on the Executive Course.

  • Please ensure you arrive at least one hour before the start time to allow for check-in and registration.

    • Please also note that the driving range and putting green will also be available. 

  • We are encouraging families and kids to participate! The Par 3 Executive Course may fit teams with younger players well. 

    • We ask that teams with members under 14 also have at least one adult present.

Limited Tickets:

  •  We are limited to 9 teams on the Par 3 Executive Course and 13 on the regulation Championship course.

  • Ticket sales are capped accordingly and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until they are gone.

  • If tickets sell out, we have created a “wait list” in case of any cancellations!

    • If tickets run out, please take a moment to add yourself to the wait list, and if any spots open up, we'll be sure to let you know!

    • By joining the wait list, you're helping us demonstrate the high level of interest in our event and potentially securing the entire course next year.

  • Even if you’re not golfing, we still hope to see you at the course on Friday, July 26th!

    • You can still participate in the side contests, raffle, and post-tourney social (more details below!)

Costs:

  • Registration fees are $300 per four-person team for the Championship course and $150 per four-person team for the Executive Course, with all proceeds going to the Delaney Doherty Memorial Scholarship Foundation. 

    • If you choose to play the Championship course, your fee includes a cart.

    • There will be no carts provided for the Par 3 Executive course (hole distances average only 150 yards, so it's a great course to walk). 

Social:

  • There will be a social following the tournament at The Bunkhouse Brewery.

  • We anticipate starting the social at 4 p.m. and concluding at around 6 p.m.

  • Light appetizers and finger foods will be provided.

Additional Information:

  • We will play a “scramble” format, meaning everyone tees off each hole, and then all members of your team will play their second shot from the best-hit or best-positioned ball of the four tee shots. Everyone on the team continues to play from the best-hit ball, and after making their putt, they will record one score for each hole.

  • There will be side competitions with great prizes, a "longest drive" contest, and two "closest to the pin" contests!

    • The buy-in fee is $20 for each try, and yes, you can try as many times as you would like!

      • We will also have a 14 and under age bracket for a "closest to the pin" prize.

    • So bring some extra cash (or we can accept Venmo, too!), have some extra fun, and try to win great prizes!

  • We also plan to hold a raffle for additional donated prizes

    • These can be anything from a round of golf at Old Works golf course to a wine basket, a car detail, and more. 

    • Be sure to review the up-to-date list of prizes when you check in!
